Paxton Stewart… The boy I spent my entire childhood pining after.
He never saw me of course.
To him I was just a child. His best friend’s baby sister. A silly little girl.
Until I wasn’t anymore…
I thought I could be the one to change him. The one to tame him.
Instead, I became one of the many broken hearts he left in his path.
I didn’t run away. I had planned to leave all along.
But what I didn’t plan for was how I would feel returning all these years later.
One look and it all came back.
One look and suddenly I remembered everything…
Every word. Every kiss. Every touch.
Even after everything he put me through; Paxton Stewart still owns my heart.
The only question remaining is what he plans to do with it now…

Crazy, Stupid, Perfection was the first book I read in the series, and it definitely is a stand-alone story. It starts out with Paxton and Charlie meeting again after a couple year hiatus and the passion and chemistry is undeniable. You are taken into the love story of two people that try and fight their feelings, but just can’t. They know it’s wrong, and hide their relationship from all that they can – especially Charlie’s older brother who is also Paxton’s best friend.
I was instantly drawn to their relationship, excited to see what was going to happen next, and if their secret would ever surface. The character of Charlie is well-liked, and Paxton’s charm is enthralling.
Reading the story was like having a conversation with them, from each of their different point of views. There is a lot of cursing, so be aware if you are sensitive to that.
There were times in the story where I felt it was a little choppy. Several weeks had passed, and it was difficult to keep up. Overall this was a fast, enjoyable read!
