My Review: 5/5
I am so excited to be one of the stops of this blog tour! This book was such a fun book to read; so deliciously sexy. Every once in a while, a character comes along that I would love to become. Izzie is one of those characters. She comes from an extremely prominent and powerful family in Philadelphia, is beautiful, smart, and has a bad-ass attitude that is superb! To top all of that, she has the most desirable man on campus trying to win her affections. In addition to all of this, she is also a very likeable.
The chemistry between Izzie and Luca is undeniable as they fight their feelings for each other. Although Izzie feels extreme attraction she has for Luca every time he comes near here, she knows they can never have a future because of their family’s history. Luca, known as the womanizer on campus, steps out of his comfort zone to win Izzie’s heart. Their cat and mouse game was so fun!
Although I loved the romance aspect and the connection between Izzie and Luca, the other element I found myself thoroughly enjoying was the mob storyline. It had a mystery element and I couldn’t wait to see what happened next.
This book is so well-rounded. Besides the romance and mob features, it focuses on the important bonds of family and friendship. I loved the interactions with Luca and his family (especially his mom), as well as the friendship with Izzie her best friend, Silvia.
This is the first in the series of the Philly Corruption Series, and it is an excellent first book. I can’t wait to read the rest of this series!

About the Author
If you like Mafia men, sports, bad boys, dirty talkers, strong female characters, and books with plenty of heat, then you’ve found the right author.
Jillian Quinn was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and currently lives in sunny Cape Coral, Florida where she still pretends it’s okay to drink hot chocolate and curl up on the couch with a good book, even when it’s ninety degrees outside. From an early age, writing and storytelling have been her passion.
When she’s not busy creating fictional worlds and living inside the minds of her characters, Jillian is reading and blogging. But you can bet she’s doing it while watching either basketball or hockey.
